Maria Gitin, Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), is founder and lead consultant of Maria Gitin & Associates. Ms. Gitin has 25 years experience consulting with nonprofit organizations, foundations and training centers. Maria is a coach for the Fundraising Academy for Communities of Color with Compass Point, a member of the Drucker Foundation national training team. She founded a domestic violence emergency shelter, launched a public library foundation and has guided fund development programs and capital campaigns for numerous community health centers and other nonprofits. Samuel Torres, Jr, has 30 years of legal and management experience. He brings current expertise in nonprofit policies and a great sense of humor to the work. Mr. Torres is a keen negotiator, team builder and swift, accurate budget analyst. Jeanne S. Hanks has 25 years managing nonprofits including community health centers and YWCAs. Ms. Hanks is an expert in planning, policy and budget development, grants review and training.
